The Great Western railway Electrification was the biggest investment in railway since Brunnel built it 150 years ago. Our team played a lead role in engineering and project management by supporting Entry into Services through all construction phases, developing entry into service processes and procedures and providing engineering assurance pre and post energisation.
Our team also led the planning, installation, testing, commissioning and entry into service of the more than 400 OLE switches over 100 miles of Automatic Transformer Feeder cable (ATF) through various route sections.
Crossrail is one of Europe’s largest megaprojects. Our team has provided engineering and project management expertise to support the delivery of the ETCS signalling system and the Engineering Assurance and Hand-over from Crossrail (Principal Designer) to Rail for London (Employer).
We have designed and built a state of the art, UK first in type, fully compliant Hydrogen fuel cell train. Supported by Innovate UK, partnering with BCRRE and Porter Brook the train is currently being commissioned for mainline services in 2021.

Our team led the upgrading the existing fixed block signalling system with the new SelTrac moving block Communication Based Train Control System (CBTC) on the Circle, District, Hammersmith and City and Metropolitan lines – We led the complex signalling migration Area 08 on the Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines, this included all aspects of design integration, scope, budget, contract commercial, stakeholder engagement and programme integration management for construction, testing and commissioning, systems testing, maintenance, and operations on behalf of TfL for the implementation of the new automated signalling technology.
Working for our client TfNSW, we supported the commissioning and operational readiness integration from the client to the employer. This included integration and interoperability with the existing road and light rail networks in Sydney’s George Street.
