Robert oversees business development and leadership functions for Global TI. He has been in senior commercial delivery, partnerships, programme management, corporate strategy and general management roles since 2008. Rob is a chartered engineer with more than 18 years of experience with qualifications in civil engineering, and railway systems. He has particular strengths in strategy development, leadership, strategic planning and execution and risk management . Robert has extensive business experience in Asia, Australia, America and the UK.
Mario oversees commercial and leadership functions for Global TI. He has been in senior project manager, operations manager and business partner roles since 2008. Mario is a professional engineer with more than 15 years of experience with qualifications in electrical engineering, and a Master of Business Administration. He has particular strengths in general management, contract management including financial P&L responsibility, project execution and working closely with operational leaders during implementation. Mario has extensive business experience in Europe and the UK.
Clive oversees Innovation and strategy leadership functions for Global TI. His deep understanding in Railways and leading spin-out businesses as part of the passion Clive has for bringing research to life is pivotal to the success of Global TI. Clive is Professor of Railway Systems and Head of the School of Engineering at the University of Birmingham. He is Director of the University’s Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education, which has over 180 researchers. He works extensively with the railway industry and academia in Britain and overseas. Clive leads a broad portfolio of research aimed at improving the performance of railway systems.
